A New Chapter
Hey guys! It is Melissa here! I wanted/need to make an announcement to you all! I don’t really know how to start this because it is such a bitter/sweet moment for me!
At the end of this year I will no longer be playing with ilia. I am not leaving on bad terms and there is no hard feelings with the girls! I have been in prayer over this for a year now. God has been working on me for awhile about this and finally I am here to tell you. He is moving me on to new things!
I am excited for what is next cause yes I am getting married and this next year is going to be full of excitement and new things. I am so blessed for the new seasons that are coming, but it in no way makes it easy to say good bye to the old. This band has been my blood sweat and tears for almost 9 years! I have given my all to this and I don’t regret any of it.
To the Frizzell’s, Pierces, Mosher’s, and Newman’s. I can not thank you guys enough for all the time, money, prayers, food aka your own blood sweat and tears you have put into us and this band! it truly means the world to me! We and I could not have every gotten anywhere without your support in every way. Again thank soooo so much! and I love you guys!
Thank you seth for the years you have put up with me and all your help with the band!
To all the former girls! I thank you guys for the times and memories I have had with you all! For making this dream of ours a reality. I love you all from the bottom of my heart! I will and would not trade these 9 years for anything.
To Jess, katie, and Britt! thanks for the past 3 years for putting up with me and making this dream continue on! I love you guys and could not have asked for a better set of friends to travel the world with! A little of my heart is left with you all! You have really helped me grow and shape who I am and I am so Thankful for the time God has allowed us to share. My blessings to you as you continue on in what God has called you to do!
Now to all the people around this nation who have donated, fed, prayed, let us sleep on your floor, encouraged, put gas in our tank, let us play, recorded, came to listen, and loved on us! Thank you so much you also have been such a big part of this and I am so thankful for you all!
